Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting

Several members of the Oregon State ITE Student Chapter attended the 99th Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. Four of those students competed in the Traffic Control Device Challenge (TCDC), presenting on their innovative idea for relaying work-zone information universally to all levels of automated vehicles (level 0 to level 5). Oregon State ITE’s TCDC team won 1st place overall and was invited to present their idea at the annual American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) convention in New Orleans, LA.
